We are seeking a Project Manager/ Business Analyst to join the University to deliver a short-term project focused on process mapping and automation readiness within research governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor delivery of the process mapping project within agreed timelines and budget
- Lead communication and engagement with stakeholders
- Produce progress reports, risk logs, and outcome summaries for senior leadership and partners
- Design and deliver process mapping workshops with governance and support teams
- Document and analyse current workflows
- Identify critical pathways, bottlenecks, and opportunities for streamlining
- Develop clear process maps, readiness assessments, and improvement recommendations
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven project management experience in NHS or research operations
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience coordinating cross-site or multi-partner projects.
- Expertise in process mapping, workflow analysis, and service redesign.
- Familiarity with NHS or research governance structures.
- Strong facilitation and analytical skills.
- Ability to translate complex processes into clear, visual representations.
Day rate: £400 - £450
Contract type: temporary, 5 months
Working hours: full-time
Location: London (hybrid working)
