Junior .NET Developer
Location: All States (Sydney & Melbourne Preferred)
Client: Federal Government
Employment Type: Contract
Experience Required: 3+ Years
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Junior .NET Developer to support a Federal Government client on large-scale, high-impact digital programs. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of complex web applications in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance and maintain ASP.NET applications
• Contribute to front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular
• Build and integrate REST/JSON-based web services
• Write and optimise SQL queries
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
• Work within Agile teams using TFS, Git, Jira
• Support DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated unit testing
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
• Work independently and be accountable for outcomes
Required Qualifications & Experience
• 2+ years of ASP.NET development
• 1+ year front-end development experience (React/Angular)
• Experience building REST/JSON APIs
• Proficient with SQL and performance tuning
• Experience in Agile development environments
• Familiarity with DevOps and automation tools
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
• Tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering or related discipline (desirable)
