We offer a pay range of $30-to- $55 per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above. As a contractor you’ll supply a secure computer and high‑speed internet; company‑sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply.

Engineering services for developing a Next-Generation Annotations Platform to streamline data labeling workflows and enhance annotation quality for AI/ML model training.
Target Profile
- 3+ years of experience in frontend development and full-stack engineering in production environments.
- Strong programming skills in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, with an ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Experience with modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, SCSS/SASS, Styled Components) and build tools (Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn/Bun).
- Proficient with designing and consuming REST APIs, and working with annotation platforms and data visualization.
- Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility implementation, and UI performance optimization.
- Familiarity with system architecture design, technical documentation, and modern Git-based workflows.
- Experience with JSON parsing, data import/export functionality, and cross-platform development.
- Core Platform Development: Build and develop annotation platform components, including annotation tools, APIs, and data handling systems using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies.
- UI/UX Implementation: Convert design concepts into functional code and create responsive components for desktop and mobile platforms while ensuring optimal user experience and accessibility compliance.
- Architecture & Documentation: Contribute to platform architecture design and create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and implementation guides.
