Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Web Accessibility Auditor with strong web frontend expertise to conduct a comprehensive website audit and deliver actionable remediation recommendations.

This role requires deep technical expertise in web accessibility standards and practical experience with assistive technologies.

  • To Note: This is for an immediate project need. Candidates should be available to begin promptly upon selection.
  • To Note: Project engagement is approved through the end of 2025, at 10-hours per week. Hours and duration may increase based on project needs and client demand.
  • To Note: Hourly rate range (45 - 55) is in USD per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough accessibility audits combining automated tools and manual testing methodologies
  • Test website functionality using assistive technologies, particularly NVDA with keyboard navigation
  • Identify and differentiate between functional, visual, and compliance-based accessibility issues
  • Review and analyze code using browser inspector tools to diagnose accessibility barriers
  • Create comprehensive, clear audit reports that explain defects, their impact, and provide practical remediation steps

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in WCAG 2.1/2.2 Success Criteria for Level A and AA compliance
  • Hands-on experience testing with screen readers (NVDA) and keyboard-only navigation
  • Proven track record conducting both automated and manual accessibility audits
  • Comfort navigating and analyzing HTML/CSS/JavaScript code through browser developer tools
  • Strong technical writing skills with ability to create actionable reports and documentation
  • Experience translating technical findings into clear recommendations for diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IAAP Certification (CPACC, WAS, or CPWA)
  • Experience with multiple screen readers and assistive technologies
  • Background in creating remediation roadmaps and priority matrices
  • This position requires someone who can work independently, has strong attention to detail, and can deliver high-quality audit documentation that drives meaningful accessibility improvements.
