GEN AI Data Analyst III
REMOTE
DURATION- 12 MONTHS -MULTI YEAR CONTRACT
The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics. They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for business users.

Work Allocation Responsibilities
- Responsible for gathering, analyzing, visualizing and problem solving as it relates to data, types of data, and relationships among data elements within a business system or IT system and with business domain expertise
- Provides expertise on how business workflows map to data, and how data can be integrated to build reusable data products
- Serves as a subject matter expert for IT delivery teams
- Report Development: Delivered 5+ complex reports with advanced interactivity and performance tuning
- Understand the business use of data and stakeholder requirements to support strategic business objectives
- Collaborate with delivery teams to provide data management direction and support for initiatives and product development
- Contribute to the design of common information models
- Consult on the appropriate data integration patterns, data modeling and data quality
- Maintain and share knowledge of requirements, key data types and data definitions, data stores, and data creation process
Required Technical Skills
Core Power BI Skills:
- DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) coding
- Data Modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
- ETL using Power Query and Dataflows
- Power BI Security (RLS, workspace roles)
- Power Query Transformations
- Advanced Visualizations (custom visuals, drill-throughs, bookmarks)
- Deployment Pipelines & version control
- Performance optimization: Query optimization and performance tuning
- SQL complex queries
- Data Connectivity:
- Azure SQL Synapse Analytics
- SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, REST APIs
- Multi-source report integration
- Power BI Workspaces and licenses
- Data Analytics & Problem Solving
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex datasets and deliver insights.
- Proactive issue resolution and troubleshooting.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
