About Costory:
As a Full Stack Engineer at Costory, you'll be responsible for deploying, scaling, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers the app, ensuring seamless integration and user experience.
In addition to the current analytics platform, you'll also be the bridge between our machine learning models and our end-users. You’ll help us deploy our models to the end user.
This role is crucial for transforming algorithms into real-world solutions that drive informed decision-making for our clients.

- We’re building the FinOps Assistant we wish we had as large cloud clients. After managing million dollar budgets across GCP, AWS, and Datadog, we know how painful cloud cost management can be. FinOps often falls on senior engineers, forced to manually monitor costs and investigate spikes with little context.
- We believe FinOps and engineering teams shouldn’t waste time digging through billing consoles and dashboards. LLMs alone won’t solve anomaly detection or cost allocation—the real challenge is adding context to messy billing data. That’s why we’re building an agent that correlates costs with technical and product events, explains changes, and surfaces insights directly where teams work, so they can focus on optimization.
- Long-term, our vision is to shift FinOps left, just like SecOps. Engineers should understand cost impact as they build, not after the fact. Costory becomes their co-pilot—helping them make smarter trade-offs between performance, reliability, and cost early in the development cycle.
As a Full Stack Engineer at Costory, you'll be responsible for deploying, scaling, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers the app, ensuring seamless integration and user experience.

What You'll Be Working On:
Building and Maintaining the web application:
- Design and implement backend services using Node.js (Express) and TypeScript.
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly front applications using React Mantine, and TypeScript.
- Create interactive data visualizations and dashboards to effectively present complex financial and operational insights.
- Implement seamless user experiences for interacting with our models and time series anomaly data.
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Node.js (Express) & React (Frontend) with TypeScript
- Mantine UI components
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in full stack development with Node.js and React.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Interest in LLM's.
