We are looking for a #SeniorDevOpsEngineer with strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, automation, and optimization to support and enhance our client’s Archer and SAS ecosystems within the Chief Risk Office (CRO). The ideal candidate will assess the current DevOps landscape, identify improvement opportunities, and implement scalable, secure, and efficient deployment pipelines across both on-prem and cloud environments.
Role: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)
Contract: 06-12months with possible extensions
Key Responsibilities
• Assess the current CI/CD setup for Archer and SAS applications and identify optimization opportunities.
• Design, implement, and enhance end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to improve build, test, and deployment automation.
• Integrate version control, build tools, testing frameworks, and deployment automation into a unified DevOps workflow.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and risk technology teams to ensure seamless deployments across environments.
• Automate environment provisioning, configuration, and application deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and rollback mechanisms to ensure pipeline reliability and application stability.
• Ensure compliance with the bank’s security and governance policies in all DevOps processes.
• Provide best practice guidance and DevOps mentorship to internal technology teams.

Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Build & Release Engineering, or Automation roles.
• Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
• Strong experience with Archer (RSA) and/or SAS systems – deployment, configuration, and integration with DevOps toolchains.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, Groovy).
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with source code management (Git, Bitbucket), artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory), and monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Deep understanding of release management, change control, and security standards in a regulated banking environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for IaC.
• Knowledge of Archer deployment automation and SAS model lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with risk management or regulatory technology platforms.
• Exposure to Agile delivery models and DevSecOps practices.

Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, Jenkins Certified Engineer, etc.) are a plus.
