Senior Software Engineer - Lithuania - Cybersecurity
We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer with an Ops mentality to join our growing SRE Team. Our client delivers advanced Artificial Intelligence-based capabilities to Network Services worldwide, and their mission is to deliver a world-class and safe environment in the modern world.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
- Participate in the creation and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Implement automation and tooling to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Implement and manage SRE principles and best practices to enhance system reliability, availability, and performance.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems to detect and resolve issues proactively.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Tier 2 technical support processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in backend development using Python.
- Expert knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure (IaC, CloudFormation.)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch).
- Building real-time streaming applications with Kafka.
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or in a similar role managing large-scale production systems.
- AWS skills needed: Fargate, DynamoDB. Kinesis, logging, monitoring, Grafana, open telemetry.
- Code orientation with Python.
