What You’ll Be Doing
As an HR Senior Specialist, Payroll & Operations, based in Luxembourg, you’ll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence across our multi-country payroll, compensation, benefits, and HR processes. Your work will directly impact the employee experience and the efficiency of our HR operations in Luxembourg, Spain, and additional jurisdictions. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Multi-Country Payroll Management (Luxembourg & Spain). Lead the full monthly payroll cycle across Luxembourg entities and employees based in Spain or other jurisdictions, ensuring flawless accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related matters and manage relationships with external payroll providers.
- Payroll Calculations & Compliance. Perform all payroll inputs (hires, terminations, bonuses, leave management, adjustments) and guarantee adherence to Luxembourgish, Spanish, and other applicable tax, social security, and labor regulations.
- Reward & Compensation Support. Contribute to annual salary review and bonus cycles through data preparation and validation. Administer local benefits programs (health insurance, pension schemes, lunch vouchers) and support competitive benchmarking efforts for Luxembourg and Spain.
- HR Operations & Documentation. Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and other contractual documents in line with local standards. Oversee the employee lifecycle related to payroll, benefits, and equity programs from onboarding to offboarding.
- Reporting, Systems & Projects. Produce recurring and ad-hoc reports (headcount, payroll costs, equity participation), contribute to HR process improvement initiatives, support systems implementation, and assist during internal and external audits.
Who We’re Looking For
We need a problem-solver who loves teamwork and gets things done. If you're curious and ready for real ownership, you'll fit in! Does this sound like you?
- International Payroll Expertise. 3–5+ years of hands-on experience managing payroll and compensation in a multi-country environment.
- Luxembourg & Spain Knowledge. Deep, practical understanding of Luxembourgish payroll, social security, and tax legislation, with experience in Spanish payroll considered a strong advantage.
- End-to-End Payroll Execution. Proven ability to run complete payroll cycles with exceptional accuracy and reliability, even across different jurisdictions.
- Organization & Prioritization. Strong ability to manage competing priorities, strict deadlines, and a fast-paced workload without compromising quality.
- Ownership & Problem-Solving Mindset. A proactive, “hands-on” approach and the ability to identify solutions independently while collaborating effectively with others.
