Our client, a leading international player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a talented HR Business Partner to join their Swiss organization based in Bern. This newly created role is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional eager to contribute to a dynamic, multicultural environment and support business leaders in a fast-paced operational setting. The position reports directly to the HR Manager Switzerland.


Role Overview

As HR Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic advisor and operational support to leadership teams, playing a key role in shaping people policies and ensuring consistent HR delivery across the Swiss organization. Working closely with both local and global HR colleagues, you will help drive initiatives that enhance performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to managers and employees on a broad range of HR topics, including talent management, performance, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Support hiring managers throughout the recruitment cycle and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Implement and adapt global HR programs and policies to meet local regulatory requirements and business needs.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, capability building, and succession development.
  • Handle employee relations matters in a pragmatic, compliant, and solution-oriented manner.
  • Work with leadership to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
  • Prepare and analyze HR data to enable informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to compensation processes, including annual reviews and market benchmarking.
  • Support organizational changes and HR-related projects, ensuring effective communication and adoption.


Candidate Profile

  • 2–4 years of experience in generalist or business partnering roles within international environments.
  • Understanding of Swiss labor legislation and HR best practices.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is highly advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English and German.
