At Yokogawa Europe, transformation is intentional. As our new Solution Architect, you will help shape the digital direction of the entire region—guiding decisions, strengthening our architecture landscape, and bridging business needs with scalable, future-ready solutions.

You work at the intersection of strategy and technology, translating complex challenges into clarity and direction. You will lead regional architecture governance, represent Europe in global decision-making, and bring deep expertise in integration, middleware, and ERP transformation.

This is a role with influence, visibility, and long-term impact.

Your Mission

You will guide architectural decisions across Yokogawa Europe, ensuring our landscape remains coherent, secure, resilient, and aligned with global standards. In addition, you will take ownership of key integration and migration initiatives essential to our digital evolution.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver

Regional Architecture Leadership

• Act as the primary architectural advisor for business stakeholders across Yokogawa Europe—assessing new application or system requests and supporting informed decision-making.
• Lead the Regional Architecture Board, ensuring strong governance processes, templates, and checklists are maintained and continuously improved.
• Maintain a structured overview of regional applications and systems, aligned with the global architecture landscape.
• Embed Enterprise Architecture (EA) best practices in collaboration with the IT Planning & Governance Manager.

Represent Yokogawa Europe in the Global Enterprise Architecture Board

• Participate in the Global Enterprise Architecture Board, presenting regional needs and sharing practical insights.
• Support or lead global EA initiatives that strengthen standards, processes, and tooling.
• Ensure the European perspective is clearly represented in global architecture governance and global implementation projects.

Middleware & Integration Expertise

• Serve as the Functional Application Manager for middleware platforms such as Workato, SAP PI/MMI, and Data Lake components.
• Create and maintain functional and architectural requirements for integration and application connectivity.
• Collaborate with business teams as a trusted sparring partner and work closely with global implementation teams.
• Own and coordinate 3rd-line incident resolution for integration issues affecting business applications.
• Ensure documentation, training materials, and functional testing approaches are complete and up to date.
• Work closely with consultancy partners in the Netherlands for operational support.

HOPES & S/4HANA Integration (Data Integration Expert)

• Lead and validate functional designs for European integrations with S/4HANA using Workato.
• Support functional and integration testing for HOPES-related data flows.
• Coordinate the migration of regional add-ons (e.g., E-Invoicing, E-Ledger, E-Waybill) into global S/4HANA.
• Support manufacturing sites in transitioning manufacturing-related integrations into HOPES-based alternatives.
• Guide the migration of YGS-HR integration functionality to H4/HANA, using SAP PI or Workato (still to be determined).
• Contribute to the phase-out of SAP PI and SAP MII as European systems move toward a unified global platform.

• Strong background in enterprise architecture, solution design, and integration platforms.
• A structured, analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complexity.
• Experience with middleware technologies (Workato, SAP PI, SAP MII, Data Lake components).
• Comfort in both advisory roles and hands-on technical tasks.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple countries and global teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
