Cyber Security Consultant – Automated Driving Systems

Location: Sodertalje, Sweden (Hybrid)

Assignment: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to support the development of a secure, future-ready Automated Driving System. This role is key in defining the cybersecurity strategy and ensuring robust security across systems, ECUs, sensors, and software components.

You will take a leading role in shaping the cybersecurity architecture for next-generation automated driving technologies. The assignment spans from strategic security planning to detailed requirement definition and secure component integration.

You will collaborate closely with system architects, cybersecurity managers, functional safety teams, vehicle security teams, and purchasing to ensure that security is fully embedded into both platform and component levels.

🛡️ Responsibilities

• Define and drive the cyber security strategy for the Automated Driving System
• Establish a secure architecture covering ECUs, sensors, networks, and software components
• Derive cyber security requirements at platform and component level
• Manage supplier cyber security — evaluate capabilities, set requirements, and validate compliance
• Ensure secure integration of all components and verify that security controls operate effectively
• Align cyber security work with system, functional safety, and vehicle-level security requirements

🎓 Qualifications

• Education or certification in relevant cyber security standards (e.g., SAE 21434, UN R155, UN R156)
• Strong communication skills and full professional proficiency in English
• Experience with cyber security for complex technical systems
• Meritorious: Knowledge of electrical systems and/or embedded systems in vehicles
