Game designer / product Owner

Hacksaw Studios is a premium developer of slots, scratchcards and instant win games to the online gaming industry. Our games can be played both in social gaming and real money modes. The games we build are played by millions of people every month from all over the world.

We are currently looking to expand our team with a Product Owner who will assure the quality of the creative and visual aspects in our game production from start to end.

You will be part of our game development team and work in a tight knit team involving many roles, including artists, front-end developers and back-end developers. We have multiple games in development at all times and are now looking for a Product Owner who can work full time on ensuring that our games are finalized in top quality.

We offer a nice office in central Stockholm, an opportunity to work with other experienced game designers as well as a co-ownership program for suitable candidates.

Your Tasks Will Include


- Learn about the online gaming industry and stay up to date on current trends and what is popular with players

• Ensuring that the game development process is aligned with the vision for the game
• Participate in game progress reviews and give feedback about the implementation process
• Take ownership of the end result in terms of feeling, timing and visual/auditory finish of each game
• Owning the tweak phase of the games to ensure that the final product is delivered the best possible way
  
  

In order to succeed in this role, you need to be very structured and organized. We will teach you what you need to know about the iGaming industry, but going forward you will be expected to take ownership of the game development process from visual and player aspects.




Required Skills And Experience

• At least two years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in the gaming field or B2C Industry
• Adapts well to a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, high attention to details
• Ability to partner with cross-functional disciplines and to influence effectively
• A problem solver – highly inventive thinker that will provide insightful, innovative solutions to any problem
• Project management abilities and passion for games
