Senior Project Manager

• Location: Hybrid, 2 days/week in Amsterdam office
• Duration: 6-months initial (possible extensions)
• Rate: €78 per hour (40 hours per week)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive key initiatives within our department. You will partner with multiple teams, business units, and centralized functions to ensure projects are delivered consistently, on time, and aligned with business priorities. You’ll have the opportunity to manage complex, cross-functional projects with global impact, while mentoring and guiding other Project Managers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full project lifecycle from scoping and planning to execution, monitoring, and handover to BAU.
• Manage low to medium complexity projects with cross-functional and global impact independently.
• Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
• Define project goals, KPIs, roadmaps, and key deliverables.
• Mitigate project risks and dependencies to ensure progress toward milestones.
• Apply change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of project outcomes.
• (Where applicable) Manage and develop a small team of Project Managers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in a corporate or global environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with structured project and change management methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams and regions.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and influencing business strategy.

Desirable:

• Experience managing external vendors or stakeholders.
• Team leadership and development experience.
• Familiarity with delivering projects aligned to business strategy and KPIs.
