Software Engineer – Node.js / TypeScript / AWS

We’re hiring on behalf of a forward-thinking fintech innovator working at the intersection of payments infrastructure, digital banking, and modern cloud-native development. The company is scaling rapidly and is on the lookout for three experienced Senior Software Engineers to help build scalable, event-driven systems using modern technologies.

This role is ideal for engineers passionate about building backend systems in cloud environments, solving complex problems, and contributing to product teams shaping the future of cross-border finance and digital payments.

What You’ll Do

• Design & Build: Architect, develop, and deploy high-performance backend services in a serverless AWS environment using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate business requirements into robust software solutions.
• Maintain Quality & Reliability: Contribute to system observability, build monitoring and alerting tools, and respond to production incidents with a mindset of continuous improvement.
• Stay Ahead: Continuously explore and integrate emerging technologies, ensuring our systems are modern, secure, and efficient.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 6+ years of backend software development experience, with a strong track record delivering scalable, high-performance systems.
• Tech Expertise:

Strong skills in Node.js, TypeScript, and cloud-native application development.

Solid understanding of API design, software architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, serverless).

Experience with frameworks like NestJS and tools like AWS Lambda.

• Database Knowledge: Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL (AWS Aurora), and ORMs like TypeORM or Prisma.
• Problem Solving: Excellent debugging and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.

Bonus Points For:

• Background in digital payments, digital banking, stablecoins, or cross-border transactions.
• Experience in fast-paced fintech or blockchain ecosystems.
• AWS certification or deep expertise in the AWS ecosystem.
