- About the Role
- Work at the intersection of IT and OT networks within a large-scale global manufacturing environment.
- Design and implement network solutions that directly impact factory performance, product quality, and operational stability.
- Participate in key engineering-led initiatives as a Network Solution Designer.
- Operate in a highly distributed global environment with cross-functional teams.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy network solutions across complex distributed infrastructures.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to ensure smooth communication across IT/OT environments.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of network connectivity issues.
- Execute network changes and upgrades with minimal impact on end users.
- Create and maintain detailed network documentation (diagrams, configurations, procedures).
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within a skilled global consulting team.
- Travel internationally for approximately 1 week per month (:90 days per year), fully covered.
- Your Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and experience working across distributed teams.
- Understanding of both IT and OT network ecosystems.
- Knowledge of edge computing concepts.
- Proven hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless.
- Solid knowledge of DHCP, DNS, VLANs, STP, VTP, OSPF, BGP.
- Familiarity with monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Awareness of network security principles and best practices.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Contract & Working Conditions
- Work model: Fully remote.
- Travel: :1 week per month to various global locations, all expenses covered.
- Contract type: B2B.
- Initial term: 6 months, with planned extension.
