The Role
We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer capable of taking full ownership of critical system components. You will work independently to architect, build, and deploy scalable serverless solutions using FastAPI, AWS Lambda, and AWS CDK.
We value engineers who don't just write code but drive features from conception to production with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-End Ownership: Take full responsibility for specific modules of the project—from architectural design to deployment and monitoring.
* Serverless Engineering: Build high-concurrency APIs using FastAPI, Pydantic, and AWS Lambda.
* Infrastructure as Code: define and maintain your own infrastructure (API Gateway, RDS, SQS) using AWS CDK in Python.
* Async Workflows: independently orchestrate complex task queues using Celery and Amazon SQS.
* Tooling & Quality: Maintain high code standards and deterministic builds using uv and Docker.
Essentials
* Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently, manage your own priorities, and deliver results without constant hand-holding.
* Communication: Excellent command of English (written and spoken) to explain your decisions and document your work.
* Python Stack: Advanced expertise in FastAPI, Pydantic, and Celery.
* AWS Native: Deep experience with Lambda, CDK, and serverless patterns.
* Fundamentals: Strong grasp of SQL, NoSQL, Git, and Docker.
Nice-to-Have
* Experience with Flutter or React Native.
* Background in Finance or FinTech.
