Senior Observability Operations Lead (Arabic-speaking)


Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Onsite)

Contract: 12-month (extendable)


About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Observability Operations Lead to join a mission-critical government program in Abu Dhabi. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, reliability, and resilience of essential services through advanced observability practices. You will lead strategic initiatives, optimize monitoring frameworks, and manage incident response in a high-pressure environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Align observability practices with organizational goals, enforce SLOs/SLIs, and maintain governance frameworks.
  • Monitoring Excellence: Implement and optimize tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry to ensure proactive detection and resolution.
  • Incident Management: Drive root cause analysis (RCA), reduce alert fatigue, and improve MTTR and MTBF metrics.
  • Team Development: Mentor L1/L2 operational teams, deliver training programs, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for senior executives, providing clear insights and strategic recommendations.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years in IT Operations or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), with 5+ years in observability.
  • Deep expertise in Dynatrace (OneAgent, Davis AI, Synthetic Monitoring, DQL).
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
  • Proven ability to manage high-stakes projects under pressure.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Certifications such as Dynatrace Professional, ITIL v4, or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) are highly desirable.
