Job Purpose :

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing and owning products and services that deliver a seamless and compliant payment experience for customers across multiple regions. You will serve as a key technical contact for integration projects, conducting thorough scoping and analysis of new initiatives and changes from a technical standpoint. You will assess the compatibility of proposed solutions with existing systems and provide expert recommendations for necessary adjustments. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and maintain alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate Effectively with payment gateway providers and external partners to build and maintain strong, strategic relationships
  • Manage and Drive the integration of multiple payment gateways into our systems, ensuring they meet compatibility, security, and performance standards
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Efforts with Account Managers, Finance, TAM, and Engineering teams to deliver seamless merchant experiences and foster continuous improvement
  • Work Closely with External Partners to explore and implement new payment methods, technologies, and features
  • Utilize Project Management and Technical Consulting Skills to oversee high-quality project delivery, ensuring the technical integrity of all merchant integrations
  • Provide Expert Consultation on optimizing payment solutions, including checkout experiences, authentication, and platform onboarding, working alongside Developers and TAM
  • Serve as a Key Knowledge Holder on the Mondia platform, APIs, and best practices for integration
  • Specify Detailed Requirements for the core platform, including defining and aligning the organization around payment standards and API implementations
  • Draft and Clarify User Stories to ensure cross-functional product teams clearly understand them
  • Ensure Product Requirements Gathering and Prioritization to align with company goals
  • Support Product Development Execution with Product Team members, including Product Design, Technology, and Data Science
  • Participate Actively in UATs, ensuring product quality and adherence to specifications

Requirements

Technical Competencies/Skills

  • Deep understanding of alternative payment methods and mobile carrier billing space, with prior experience working on such products
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies, understand complex systems (APIs, databases, SDK's, etc.), and desire to improve technical acumen
  • Able to work with APIs both REST and SOAP, fire a requests and see the result
  • Strong knowledge of API authentication methods, including Basic Auth, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other types
  • Do not hesitate to write small Java code snippets to better understand how the new integration should function during the scoping process. utilizing resources like Google and ChatGPT for support
  • Strong ability to translate technical jargon into clear business benefit
  • Capable of working with Figma and similar tools to create mockups when needed

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, information technology)

Experience

  • 5 years of equivalent project management experience managing complex
