Green Project is looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to help shape the future of climate tech by building beautiful, high-impact product experiences across Engage50 and Product50. This role is about moving fast, owning your work end-to-end, and using AI tools to deliver world-class interfaces that accelerate our mission to net-zero.
Responsibilities:
- Build fast, accessible, and intuitive web interfaces in React / TypeScript.
- Work closely with design and backend teams to bring new ideas to life across Engage50 and Product50.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to code faster, ship safer, and raise the bar for quality.
- Take full ownership — write, test, deploy, and monitor your code in production.
- Contribute to shared design systems and components that power the whole GPT ecosystem.
- You'll collaborate daily with design, backend engineering, product, and sustainability experts — a tight-knit, mission-driven team that ships fast and learns constantly.
- 3–6 years of professional experience with React / TypeScript
- Strong understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, accessibility, browser APIs)
- Prior startup experience and comfort with ambiguity
- Curiosity about using AI tools in the development process
- Desire to use code and AI to accelerate the transition to net-zero
- Experience with Go or other typed backend languages (or a desire to learn) is a plus
- Interest in sustainability or climate-tech concepts is a plus
The base pay range for this position is £70,000 – £90,000 annually + discretionary bonus; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
