UX/UI Designer is a role in our Corporate IT team.
This is an office-based role with the option of a hybrid work arrangement.
Must be available to come into the London, Ontario office 3 days per week.

You have the ability to manage requirements elicitation activities with a variety of stakeholders and manage a workload that involves tasks from concurrently running initiatives.
You have post-secondary education in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or equivalent practical experience. You have 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design including developing and maintaining comprehensive design systems (e.g. using Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD), creating detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups for complex applications and planning and conducting user research, A/B testing, and usability testing to validate design decisions.
Reporting to our E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end user experience and visual design of websites for the Trudell Medical Group of Companies (TMG). You will focus on user research, conceptual design, prototyping, and design system government, ensuring all digital solutions are user-centric, visually compelling and aligned with business goals.
You Have The Following Specialized Skills
- Knowledge of Drupal structure, themes, and content management capabilities
- Deep knowledge of Responsive Design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG/AODA)
- Familiarity with the capabilities and limitations of common front-end technologies: HTML/CSS/JavaScript. and understanding of how designs translate into code in modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)
- Ability to design and deliver effective mobile-based solutions
- Understanding of deployment processes to a cloud environment such as Pantheon, Azure, AWS or equivalent
- Experience with design and planning tools to support project-based management related to design lifecycles
- Ability to articulate complex design ideas to non-technical people (e.g., stakeholders, product owners) and advocate for the user
- Ability to manage design schedules across multiple projects
Design and Strategy Development
- Architect and govern the end-to-end user experience for new digital solutions to meet complex business and user needs
- Facilitate design strategy and user research discussions with stakeholders and product owners
- Both independently and in collaboration with development teams, ensure the successful design and preparation of assets for customized application software
- Participate in collaborations regarding requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), design presentations, and project preparations
- Maintain and evolve the central design system/pattern library and visual style guides across all applications and websites
- Deploy new design iterations and usability improvements to existing products
- Author comprehensive design specifications and technical handoff documents for development teams
- Ensure reliable usability, accessibility (WCAG compliance), and consistency of websites and customized solutions
- Ensure the performance of all direct reports is evaluated to maximize their Coordinate design activities, research efforts, and stakeholder reviews with internal resources (e.g., product managers, content specialists)
- Collaborate with external resources (e.g., specialized agencies, external developers) as needed to ensure design integrity and quality control during implementation
