The Web Technology Manager is a generalist role with a focus on team supervision. This position requires broad experience in front-end and back-end development, content management systems, web infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

People management is key. You will be working with a diverse team of web technologists, including solution architects, programmers, operators, and testers.

You will get to work on a wide range of client businesses like art & culture, automotive, financial services, education, hospitality, and government.

This role is especially suitable for a web-based professional who is keen on general solutioning, team-building, and client partnering.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Enterprise CMS (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Kentico,)
• Web programming (Java and/or .NET)
• RESTful (or Web Services or API)
• Client-side scripting and web mark-up (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
• System architecture (hosting, network, hardware and software)
• Software development methodologies and programming best practices, including standards-based coding
• Load testing (e.g. JMeter) and web security penetration testing tools (e.g. OWASP).
• Code versioning – Git (e.g. BitBucket)
• Good spoken and written English
