Job Description
We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and the iOS ecosystem, with hands-on experience delivering robust, test-driven app features in an Agile development environment. This role requires a solid understanding of mobile architecture, development best practices, and collaborative team delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable iOS application features using Swift and Objective-C.
- Build features following Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles, ensuring reliability and code correctness.
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Utilize Xcode, Swift Package Manager (SPM), and other open-source libraries to integrate and optimize mobile functionalities.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver refined solutions.
- Ensure code adheres to industry best practices, including clean code standards, performance optimization, and secure coding guidelines.
- Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated build/test scripts.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across various iOS devices and OS versions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in iOS application development.
- Strong proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and Xcode.
- Experience with Swift Package Manager (SPM) and integrating open-source libraries.
- Hands-on experience with TDD and writing automated mobile tests.
- Solid understanding of iOS frameworks, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and mobile UI/UX best practices.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating backend services.
- Strong knowledge of version control tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, etc.).
- Knowledge of UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, Combine, or other modern iOS technologies.
- Experience with performance profiling and memory optimization.
- Exposure to modern architectural patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.
