Job Summary:
The Data & Analytics and Bi Manager will play a pivotal role in managing, developing, and shaping data strategy and building analytics tools to enhance data-driven decision-making within our client’s sectors. This hands-on role will be responsible for all phases of analytics projects from problem definition through presentation, have strong business and analytics knowledge, and partner with operations and key leaders to drive better outcomes and identify and implement best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the relationship between data engineering and BI & Analytics teams to prioritize data projects, trouble shoot and maintain a best-in-class data strategy & standards
- Understanding of Snowflake, SQL, and data modelling (certificates preferred)
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools (QlikView, Power BI) core to the business and our clients. Understand best visualization practices and user journey.
- Be the analytics lead on key strategic initiatives and drive results through our operations teams and clients.
- Partner with peers on the team to share best practices and drive collaboration
- Strong executive-level client facing skills and the ability to communicate complex analytical concepts with confidence to a non-technical executive audience.
- Development of analytics strategy, case studies, best practices/standards, and driving usage of key tools and technology.
Ideal Candidate:
- Self-motivated with a passion for analytics, constant improvement, and track-record of driving outcomes.
- Hands on experience with building dashboards from scratch
- Lead through action and capability to manage all phases of analytics projects, from problem definition to the final presentation.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge of data analysis and its application to real-world business problems at scale.
- Strong skills and experience with BI programs (e.g., QlikView/Sense, Tableau, PowerBI), SQL, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and peers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; MBA/Master’s Analytics or similar preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Relevant Certificates/Certifications Preferred (MS, Udemy, Data Camp, etc.)
Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 salary plus bonus
