Role Purpose

To support and optimize the development, integration, and maintenance of operational support systems, including middleware platforms (IBM ESB, Broker, BPM, MNP) and Java Spring Boot applications. The role ensures the seamless functionality of systems through coding, system updates, troubleshooting, and user support. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring data backup and recovery, enhancing system security, and providing technical solutions to improve the operational systems' performance.

  • Qualification : Bachelor in relevant field
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience

Key Accountabilities

  • Demonstrate advanced expertise in IBM ESB, Broker, BPM, MNP, and Java Spring Boot for monitoring, integrations, and change implementations.
  • Manage and optimize API integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Knowledge of Troubleshoot and solving complicated systems incidents.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system incidents to ensure minimal service disruption.
  • Provide technical support for system users and perform troubleshooting of system issues.
  • Assist in system health checks, ensuring applications are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Proactively monitor operational systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work with infrastructure teams to address system performance issues and system optimization.
  • Collaborate with the network and infrastructure teams to ensure system integrations, security patches, and updates are handled efficiently.
  • Coordinate with other departments to support web services and operational applications.
  • Assist in incident resolution, ensuring quick closure of support tickets and minimizing downtime.
  • Document incidents and resolutions in accordance with IT support processes.
  • Work alongside security teams to ensure that all systems are up-to-date with security protocols, patches, and upgrades.
  • Assist in enhancing system security by identifying vulnerabilities and collaborating on security improvements.
  • Liaise with vendors for troubleshooting, support, and system enhancements.
  • Manage software licensing for supported systems, ensuring accurate sizing and timely renewals.
  • Ensure proper backup procedures are in place for all critical systems and data.
  • Assist in data recovery operations to minimize downtime in the event of system failures.
