💼 The Opportunity

AEK Media is seeking a talented and experienced Digital Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in digital design, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating visually stunning and user-centric designs across a variety of digital media.

As a Digital Designer at AEK Media, you’ll work across a diverse range of projects — including website design, social media content, email campaigns, and digital advertising.

✏️ What You’ll Do

• 🎯 Collaborate with marketing and development teams to create effective, on-brand digital designs.
• 🌐 Design assets for websites, social media, email campaigns, and digital ads.
• 📐 Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that bring ideas to life.
• 🔍 Align all visual work with brand guidelines and business goals.
• 🚀 Stay ahead of design trends and contribute innovative ideas.
• 🧠 Workshop, ideate, brief and scope – both internally and with clients.
• 🤝 Work closely with developers to ensure faithful design implementation.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience as a Digital Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Experience with HTML/CSS and an understanding of web development processes.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
• A great attitude to constructive criticism, and an eagerness to learn and upskill where necessary
• Possess a good 'sixth sense' - able to read people readily.
• Extra: motion graphic skills would be valuable, but not required.
