Here’s What You Will Do:

As a key member of our consulting team, you will play a hands-on role in driving successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives for our clients. Working in multi-disciplinary teams, you’ll ensure projects are executed seamlessly, delivering measurable operational and business outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and provide critical input on project briefs, including impact assessments, cost estimations, and resource planning.
  • Partner with senior client stakeholders to define requirements, shape platform roadmaps, and guide migration or modernization efforts that enable business growth.
  • Manage project delivery, timelines, and client expectations—ensuring solutions are scalable, high-performing, and commercially viable.
  • Run project governance to ensure clear communications and decision making, making use of planning artifacts to manage client expectations and overcome barriers to change.
  • Collaborate closely with a global digital team, working across multiple technology vendors to craft and deliver exceptional customer experiences.



Hours:

This is a permanent role within our Technology function. However, we do consider flexible ways of working that allow the best outcomes for our team.


Location:

This role offers hybrid working: Office-based on a 3 out of 5 days basis. While Sydney is the home location, there is flexibility to work from our offices in Melbourne and other capitals. Occasional travel to Canberra will be required.


Responsibilities:

  • End to end Project execution covering the entire SDLC cycle.
  • Understand the various organizational factors, assumptions, constraints, and boundaries in which the project needs to be executed.
  • Host the kick-off meeting with project stakeholders which includes Customer, Other IT vendors and Project team.
  • Understand the dynamics and create the Project planning and maintain the same.
  • Work breakdown structure for the team to be maintained and tracked.
  • Identification of Risk, Issues, Dependencies beforehand and work towards mitigation.
  • Host Weekly Status calls with various project stakeholders.
  • Participate in the Project Review, Audits, Forecasting, Timesheet tracking, Billing and Invoicing.
  • Manage and lead the project team which includes Business Analyst, Development team, testing team.
  • Maintain relevant trackers, checklist and knowledge documents during SDLC cycle.
  • Maintain good rapport project stakeholders and communicate the project status appropriately on time.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas of improvement.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques and standards throughout the entire project execution.


Who You Are:

Technical Capability


  • Overall, 10+years of experience in IT industry with hands on Project management experience for 5+ years
  • End to end project management experience covering but not limited to Project Planning and Execution, People Management, Change Management, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management and Knowledge Management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to complete the projects to the given scope, budget and timeline without compromising on the quality.
  • Strong knowledge on Project management software tools, methodologies and best practices.
  • SAFe Agile, PMP (Project Management Professional) or Prince2 certification is desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge and work experience in Agile or scrum methodology is added advantage.

  • Previously worked in public sector or citizen services transformation
  • Australian Citizens only


Desirable Experience

  • Working within an IT Consultancy
  • Previous Security Clearance, or now willing to undergo vetting process
  • Have previously managed implementations and run/operate scalable and reliable services for clients


Qualifications / Certifications

Degree level qualification in computer science, engineering or technology
