Our client, an ambitious early-stage startup based in the USA with a founding team in Vienna, is currently developing an AI-powered SaaS platform – built entirely from scratch. Backed by renowned VCs from New York and Silicon Valley, this is an exciting opportunity for tech-savvy developers who enjoy taking on responsibility and want to help shape a modern, scalable product.

Your responsibilities:

• Developing core product features across the entire stack using Solid.js, Rust, and PostgreSQL
• Close collaboration with frontend and backend developers in a compact, fast-moving team
• Integrating AI features (LLMs, Agents) into both backend systems and the frontend experience
• Helping to shape architectural and technological decisions from day one
• Working independently with regular coordination with teams in Vienna and the USA
• Participation in occasional in-person meetings in Vienna (approx. twice a week)

What you bring to the table:

• Expertise in Rust (or a comparable language) and Solid.js (or solid experience with React)
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and backend best practices
• Proven experience in building and deploying full-stack applications end-to-end
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
• Self-motivation, proactivity, and enthusiasm for building from the ground up in an early-stage company
