The recruiting company Our client is a European start-up specializing in electronic warfare and precision localization in the defense sector, currently building a complete team across several locations.
Key points of the position Reporting to the CEO and CTO, you will contribute to the development of military-grade embedded systems.
As An Embedded Software Engineer, Your Missions Will Include
- Analyzing functional requirements and contributing to technical specifications
- Designing and developing embedded software in C language
- Developing hardware drivers to interface electronic components (MCUs)
- Implementing communication protocols and optimizing timing performances
- Debugging embedded firmware and serial interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART…)
- Supporting integration, testing, and debugging phases
- Contributing to embedded developments linked to an ecosystem of precision localization technologies, including UWB-based systems (no prior UWB experience required)
- With a background in electronics or embedded systems, you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- You are proficient in embedded C development (STM32, ESP32, etc.)
- You know how to debug serial interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART…)
- Familiarity with cryptography, TrustZone, or data fusion is considered a plus (but not required)
- Fluent English is imperative
