NETWORK ENGINEER (INDUSTRIAL NETWORKS)
- Place: Olen, Belgium
- Type: Hybrid
- Level: Mid-Senior
You will make an impact in the following way:
- You will deliver service projects and provide customer feedback to the sales team and the business unit
- Solve complex technical challenges with customer installations and follow up regularly
- Hold technology workshops and give trainings for the customers in our Customer Innovation Center
- Support solution consultants in the development of technical solutions to meet customer requirements
- You will lead proof-of-concepts, factory and site acceptance tests (FAT, SAT) to customers onsite and offsite
What you will bring:
- Education – Engineering graduate in Information Technology or Process Automation
- Experience – At least 5 years experience in customer service for industrial technologies
- Technical expertise – Industrial Ethernet and technologies like ICS, IO-Link, and Wireless, ability to diagnose complex network architecture and provide ad-hoc solutions
- Personality – You exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in customer interactions, while also demonstrating analytical prowess within a metric-driven environment, adept at translating complex technical information into understandable language for non-technical individuals, responsive to inquiries, challenges, and capable of independent knowledge acquisition
- Willingness to travel – Around 30-40% of time, most times domestically but some international travel required
- Language proficiency – Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken). Fluency in French is highly appreciated.
