Client Platform Specialist is responsible for providing technical guidance and support for the SSAB’s infrastructure within the client platform technology field. Key tasks include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with other teams and projects, planning, developing, and building production client platforms together with architects, service managers, and customers. The role also involves creating and maintaining documentation for the technology area and related environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and guidance on SCCM to clients
- Monitor infrastructure performance and take corrective actions
- Create and distribute software packages
- Maintain and implement changes in the technology environment
- Plan, develop, and implement new client platforms
- Ensure information security in the environment
- Manage ITSM requests, incidents, and changes according to instructions
- Oversee client platform lifecycle, including upgrades and replacements
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Architects on hardware and software requirements
Optimal candidate would have System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and software packaging experience as well as familiarity with ITSM and ITIL processes.
You can be experienced specialist with wide understanding in SCCM or you be well experienced Service Desk or On-Site Support agent looking for next stage in your career.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field
- A couple of years’ experience in relevant field of IT, for example IT service desk support
- Experience with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager / MECM) for creating and deploying software packages, updates, and system images
- Familiarity with ITSM and ITIL processes (incidents, requests, and changes)
- You have great collaboration skills and as well as high can-do attitude with teamwork ability
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills in English
- Ability to conduct research into technology area and products as required.
- You understand and follow SSAB's employee criteria.
- You understand and follow the safety commitment when the location is a production site.
- Swedish and/or Finnish considers as an advantage.
