Mission Context and Objectives
As part of regulatory compliance efforts and the digital transformation of financial processes, our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager / PMO to lead complex initiatives, with a strong focus on electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) implementation. The consultant will be responsible for structuring, managing, and delivering these projects end-to-end, ensuring seamless coordination between Finance and IT teams in an international environment under strict deadlines.
Required Skills and Experience (
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven expertise in the following areas:
- Complex IT/Finance Project Management: Significant experience in leading and managing large-scale projects with a strong IT component in the Finance domain.
- Dual Business/IT Competence: Ability to bridge functional and technical aspects, translating financial processes and regulatory requirements into IT solutions.
- Bilingual Communication: Skilled at engaging effectively with both Finance stakeholders (CFO, Accounting) and IT teams (CIO, Architects).
- Regulatory Projects & Hard Deadlines: Successful track record in delivering projects under non-negotiable timelines, particularly regulatory-driven initiatives.
- E-Invoicing Expertise (Major Asset): Previous experience with e-invoicing projects in France is highly desirable.
- International Project Delivery: Demonstrated ability to manage and deploy projects across multi-country or multi-entity environments.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
As PMO / Project Manager, you will be accountable for:
Planning & Governance
- Define and maintain the project plan (scope, timeline, budget estimates).
- Monitor budget, risks, milestones, and resource allocation.
Functional Documentation
- Draft detailed Business Requirements Specifications.
- Prepare Test Plans and Acceptance Reports.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Build and animate the network of Business and IT stakeholders.
- Prepare and present materials for Steering Committees (COPIL) and Project Committees (COMOP).
- Ensure regular progress updates and risk alerts.
Coordination
- Oversee collaboration between vendors, integrators, and internal teams.
Mission Details
- Language: Fluent English required (international teams and documentation).
- Location: On-site in Paris.
- Contract Length: 6 month renewable
