Head of Cybersecurity

Our client: The company is an independent player in the finance sector, operating globally with a strong focus on Europe. They are currently seeking a Head of Cybersecurity to lead and enhance their security strategies.

Your tasks:

• Manage 24/7 SOC operations for threat detection and response

• Oversee IAM to ensure access rights follow least privilege principles

• Drive cybersecurity projects and address identified risks

• Validate business projects' security compliance and fix vulnerabilities

• Lead and develop the cybersecurity team, promoting security awareness

• Collaborate on IT risk management strategies with the CISO

• Report IT security status to the CIO and stakeholders

• Travel internationally to strengthen global cooperation

Your profile:

• IT security expert with leadership experience

• Cybersecurity specialist with up-to-date knowledge

• Experience in regulated environments

• Strong communication in english (C1) and german (C2-Level)

• Analytical and strategic thinker

• Leadership qualities to inspire teams

• Resilient and strong negotiator

• Entrepreneurial spirit and initiative
