We’re looking for a Manager Business Development to drive a range of strategic initiatives that shape the future direction of the business. This includes supporting the further development and scaling of our marketplace business, among other strategic projects.

Stellenbeschreibung

You will work closely with the Head of Business Development on initiatives that run end to end, from scoping and validation to implementation. Together with cross-functional teams, you will develop, execute, and scale strategic initiatives across the organization.

You combine strong analytical skills with a structured, hands-on approach and are comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Scoping & Building Business Cases

  • Take the lead in scoping new strategic initiatives, framing the problem and defining the opportunity
  • Build clear and structured business cases, including sizing, success metrics, and impact potential.

Identifying Opportunities

  • Continuously spot and evaluate new opportunities within our marketplace business that can strengthen or expand the business.
  • Leverage data to uncover trends, challenges, and untapped potential.

Driving Implementation

  • Translate strategy into action by driving the implementation of strategic initiatives across the organization.
  • Track performance, follow through on deliverables, and make sure initiatives translate into tangible business outcomes.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Business, Economics, Data Analytics or related).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, as well as PowerPoint or Google Slides
  • Experience working with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with BigQuery and SQL is considered a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, private equity, venture capital, a scale-up, start-up, or related experience.
  • You have strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • You are comfortable taking ownership and driving projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • You can balance strategic thinking with a hands-on mindset to move initiatives from scoping to execution.
  • You work effectively with stakeholders across different teams and functions.
  • You have strong communication skills and are able to structure complex information clearly, influence decisions, and adapt your message to different audiences.
