Our client is seeking a Technical Product Delivery Manager to support the delivery, enhancement, and ongoing performance of key finance and operational systems. This permanent role combines Product Ownership, Project Management, and Service Delivery Management, and requires strong technical/infrastructure expertise and direct vendor management of an outsourced partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product roadmaps, requirements, and backlogs for finance and operational systems.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives and system upgrades.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to meet delivery goals.
- Oversee service performance, SLAs, incidents, and change processes.
- Govern and manage the day-to-day relationship with the outsourced IT vendor.
- Ensure continuous improvement across systems and service operations.
- Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and issues.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
- Experience working with finance systems (ERP, finance applications, reporting tools).
- Strong technical or infrastructure background enabling effective engagement with technical teams.
- Proven experience in product ownership, project delivery, and service delivery.
- Hands-on experience managing outsourced vendors or managed service providers.
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
- Certifications such as ITIL, Scrum Product Owner, Prince2, or PMP.
- Experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
