The customer is a data automation company located in Cagliari. The core mission is to automate the extraction of data from private funds documents, facilitating fund analysis. And then use AI and traditional data enrichment algorithms to provide high-quality and scalable information such as fund's holdings and fund structures for risk, performance, and other critical purposes.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join a dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both backend and frontend development, contributing to the development and maintenance of a scalable, secure, and cloud-agnostic application. You will work closely with the CTO, other developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions. The working language is ENGLISH.

Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Python and related frameworks.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, following the OpenAPI and AsyncAPI specifications.
• Work with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with AI technologies, including Machine Learning and Large Language Models.
• Ensure robust security practices using OAuth2, JWT, and other industry standards.

Frontend Development

• Create dynamic and responsive web interfaces using Django, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design specifications.

DevOps and CI/CD

• Participate in the use and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with automated deployment processes using Helm Charts and Kustomize.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger.

Working setup

• This is a remote position with meetings in Cagliari, Milan or London once a quarter
• First 2 weeks will be spent onsite with CTO in Cagliari to ensure smooth onboarding
