Head of Infrastructure

At Noda we’re building seamless Open Banking solutions that make payments smarter, faster, and safer. We’re now looking for a Head of Infrastructure to join our team and help drive the next wave of fintech innovation.

Your mission:

This is a key technical leadership role responsible for shaping architecture, ensuring system stability and security, and leading a team. 

Your responsibilities:

• Design and evolve the architecture of a high-load, business-critical application.
  
• Lead infrastructure development, modernization, scalability, and resilience.
  
• Oversee implementation, deployment, and enhancement of core services.
  
• Introduce best practices and new technologies across infrastructure and DevOps.
  
• Build and operate production Kubernetes clusters.
  
• Develop and optimize automated, secure CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Manage service configuration, deployments, and environment consistency.
  
• Maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  
• Ensure infrastructure and process security.
  
• Manage updates, patches, and cluster upgrades.
  
• Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  
• Control quality of infrastructure implementations.
  
• Manage budgets, resources, vendor relations, and tooling.
• Participate in hiring and team structure development.
  
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and external technical teams.
  
• Serve as the primary contact for infrastructure-related topics.
  
• Work with third-party technicians and service providers.
  
• Execute strategic initiatives from senior management.
  
• Contribute to product improvement and long-term technology goals.
• Lead, mentor, and scale the Infrastructure/DevOps team.

Your skills and experience: 

• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure/DevOps leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in high-load, distributed systems architecture.
• Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, networking, security practices, and monitoring stacks.
• Experience managing engineering teams and budgets.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced fintech environment.
• English – upper-intermediate+
• Russian – native/fluent
