As Product Owner, you’ll lead our hardware product operations. You’ll execute our product roadmap by implementing current and upcoming product features - ensuring that new and existing Catchbox hardware and the supporting software products evolve smoothly, stay compatible, and delight our customers. You’ll act as the bridge between our engineering teams (hardware & firmware, software) and
commercial teams (sales, marketing, and customer support). You’ll oversee product updates and launches, coordinate cross-functional teamwork, and help introduce our upcoming software products.
This role requires both technical fluency and customer empathy - understanding how our
systems work, and how real users interact with them - you’ll use these insights in defining the product and its features together with the Head of Product.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Roadmap Management
- Own the execution of the “Now” and “Next” stages of the product roadmap.
- Manage product versions, hardware compatibility, and lifecycle updates.
- Prioritize and coordinate development activities with internal and external design and engineering teams.
- Plan and oversee new product and feature introductions in hardware and software.
- Collect and translate user feedback into actionable features or improvements.
- Serve as a link between product, engineering, and commercial functions.
- Support the sales and marketing teams with product insights, positioning, and
- Collaborate with Customer Support to understand recurring issues and update product
- Occasionally interact with customers and AV partners to gather insights and validate
Documentation & Enablement
- Maintain and update customer-facing product documentation, including knowledge base
- Ensure product information is clear, accurate, and up to date across all channels.
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in hardware product ownership, technical product management, or project
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and versioning.
- Comfortable discussing both technical details (firmware, connectivity, compatibility) and
- Excellent communication and organization skills — capable of managing timelines and
- Familiarity with agile or lean development practices.
- Experience with audio, AV, or IoT products.
- Understanding of wireless communication systems, or embedded hardware.
- Basic technical background (engineering or related field).
