Role Description
This is a temporary role for an Information Technology Support Engineer, based on-site. The role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, managing system administration tasks, and offering help desk support to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Technical Support, Information Technology, and Help Desk Support
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues
- Experience in System Administration and managing IT infrastructure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced on-site environment
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are a plus
- Previous experience in similar roles or environments is advantageous
Scope of Work:
- End Customer Support (non remote incidents, IMACD, replacement devices, components or peripherals, etc)
- Mac/Apple device support (basic troubleshooting)
- Asset management (asset management will be limited to IMACD and incident activities)
- Mobile phone support ( distribution of devices to user, hand out SIM card to user, SW/Memory problem, etc)
Requirements:
- Must have basic tools, screw driver set, console cable, laptop with admin rights, software installed
- Critical thinking to identify and resolve the issues, assisting RE.
