Senior Software Engineer – Backend (Go / Process Automation)

About The Role

Our client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend and automation expertise to lead the development of high-impact automation and AI-driven solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves building scalable workflows, and wants to make a measurable impact on operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for delivering 10 high-ROI automation use cases and driving a 30% efficiency improvement across the company’s most manual processes by Q2 2026.

What You’ll Do

• Architect, build, and deploy scalable automation for manual workflows and processes.
• Collaborate with Security and cross-functional partners to identify inefficiencies and prioritize automation opportunities.
• Develop integrations and workflow solutions using tools like Jira, Google Workspace, Slack, Workato, Glean, and N8n.
• Ensure smooth operational transitions from manual to automated processes.
• Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement ongoing improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (system design, architecture, user guides).
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Demonstrated success delivering process and workflow automation across multiple platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang).
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (N8n, Workato, or similar).
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience building AI Agents or LLM-powered workflows
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers
