Senior Java Developer role - Stockholm!

I'm looking to speak with talented engineers regarding a new role at a super well-established product company, based in Stockholm. Their platform is a high-traffic, high-availability b2b e-commerce offering, one of the largest and most renowned in Sweden!

A digital-first organisation, you'd work alongside highly skilled colleagues as part of a cross-functional engineering department, made up of agile teams comprised of experienced engineers, developers, architects, product owners and designers!

This is a role where you'd be working on a business-critical product which relies on high availability , and so your work would have a direct an tangible impact!

🛠️What you’d work on

• Develop and enhance complex backend functionality for a large-scale commerce platform

• Integrate third-party systems, APIs, and external services

• Take part in architectural discussions and technical decision-making

• Collaborate daily with frontend, architects, DevOps and product owners

• Contribute to automation, testing practices, and CI/CD improvements

✅Key technical experience

• Several years of backend development with Java

• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure OR AWS/GCP and comfortable working with adapting (App Services, Functions, storage services)

• Comfortable with Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows

• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture

• Used to API testing (e.g. Postman, REST Assured) and CI/CD pipelines

💗Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with enterprise e-commerce platforms

• Understanding of container tech (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Exposure to monitoring tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, etc.)

• Familiarity with automated testing and DevOps practices
