About You

You are an experienced project controls professional with at least 15 years of leadership experience in large-scale CAPEX projects, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sectors. You have a proven track record of guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to scope.

With deep expertise in cost control, scheduling, risk management, and earned value management, you thrive on solving problems, presenting complex data with clarity, and influencing senior stakeholders.

You hold a master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field, and professional certification is highly desirable. Fluency in English is essential, while Swedish is an advantage but not required.

About the Role

As Project Controls Manager, you will oversee all project controls activities critical to the success of the project. Reporting directly to the CAPEX Director, you will provide strategic leadership across cost, schedule, risk, and reporting functions, with four direct reports under your supervision.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing the project controls framework, processes, and governance structure.
• Driving consistency and standardization in methodologies for cost control, scheduling, risk, and reporting.
• Overseeing budget control, forecasting, expenditure tracking, and earned value management.
• Ensuring effective risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Supervising change management governance and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Consolidating insights and presenting executive-level reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Acting as the main interface with the project and external stakeholders on all project controls matters.
• Continuously improving processes for efficiency and optimization.
