OBSS is looking for a Python Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering end-to-end software e-commerce projects. You will work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications that solve real business problems.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-availability distributed systems using Python-based frameworks, ensuring robust architecture and clean system design principles.
• Build and operate cloud-native services on AWS/GCP, leveraging Kubernetes for orchestration while ensuring strong observability through APM, logging, monitoring, and meaningful alerting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in a product-driven environment to deliver high-quality features end-to-end, including database design, API development, CI/CD integration, and full-stack contributions when needed.
• Mentor and support other engineers, promoting best engineering practices, code quality standards, and continuous learning within the team.
• Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and development workflows, proactively identifying technical challenges and driving scalable, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications / Technical Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• You have at least 5-10 years of professional experience in general
• You are fluent in at least one Python web framework, such as Django, Kafka, RabbitMQ and willing to build and maintain services in different Python web frameworks and Fullstack development
• You have a good understanding of Systems Design
• You have experience with relational databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language.
• You have a hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
• You have deep experience with Observability: APM, Logging, meaningful alerts, etc.
• You are a constant learner, you can pick up new programming frameworks, languages and concepts quickly
• You have a hands-on experience building on cloud platforms like GCP / AWS.
• You have a hands-on experience with Kubernetes
