About the role: Senior Software Architect & Technical Mentor

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Software Architect & Technical Mentor to join our development leadership team. In this role, you will not only shape the architectural direction of our software systems but also play a crucial part in mentoring and coaching developers across the organization. You will be a driving force in enhancing our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, advocating for industry best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

As a key technical leader, you will design scalable, high-performance software solutions, evaluate and introduce new technologies, and establish in-house frameworks that improve development efficiency. Your ability to solve complex problems and collaborate across teams will be essential to our success.

This position is ideal for individuals who are deeply passionate about technology, thrive in a mentorship role, and possess strong software architecture expertise at an enterprise level.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, design patterns, and system architecture.
• Architectural Design: Develop scalable, high-performance, and secure architectural blueprints and ensure they align with the company’s long-term technical strategy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, product, DevOps, and business teams to define and implement efficient solutions.
• Technology Evaluation & Adoption: Stay ahead of emerging technologies, recommend innovative tools and frameworks, and drive their adoption within the organization.
• Framework & Process Development: Establish reusable components, templates, and in-house frameworks that accelerate development and maintain high-quality standards.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct architectural reviews, troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Technical Roadmap: Define the technical vision and roadmap for software development, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Code Reviews & Best Practices: Implement rigorous code review processes to uphold software quality and security standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade, distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in system design, microservices, and software architecture principles.
• Proficiency in Java (Spring, Spring Boot), Node.js, React, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Extensive experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Solid understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Redis, Couchbase).
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring developers and conducting technical training.
• Experience working in agile environments and driving SDLC improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
• Technical certifications in cloud computing, architecture, or DevOps methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and their integration into software solutions.
