At Oracle, our Global Industry Unit for Communications builds software applications that help telecom companies run and manage their networks and business operations efficiently. Our solutions include BSS (Business Support Systems) and OSS (Operations Support Systems), supporting 5G, cloud-native core networks, and IoT, and enabling companies to create new digital services, automate processes, and grow revenue for our customers.

You will play a crucial role in supporting our consulting projects, working closely with senior consultants and clients to drive successful outcomes.

What You Will Bring

• University degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences
• Experience of scripting languages such as Python (strongly preferred), Shell, or Perl.
• Experience in object-oriented programming concepts, with solid knowledge of an OOP language such as C++ or Java.
• Hands on experience with Unix/Linux OS and RDBMS, PL/SQL
• Basic understanding of REST API, SOAP, Webservice
• Fundamental experience in working with any C like pointers, macros, thread management and functions.
• Experience or interest in working with any once source code management systems like CSV, VSS, SVN, GIT
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communications skills in English and Norwegian (spoken and written)

What You Will Do

• Client Engagement: Collaborate with senior consultants to engage with clients, understand their needs, and establish strong client relationships
• Report Generation: Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports, presentations, and documents to clients, effectively communicating findings and recommendations
• Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and management of consulting projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
• Problem Solving: Contribute to problem-solving sessions, brainstorming, and creative thinking to address client challenges effectively
• Client Workshops: Facilitate workshops and meetings with clients to gather information, share findings, and collaborate on solutions
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within the organization to leverage expertise and deliver holistic solutions.
