We have partnered with a major omnichannel organisation to appoint a Head of Digital Technology.


This is a senior strategic role responsible for leading a large scale transformation across all customer facing digital platforms. The organisation is unifying its omnichannel ecosystem, modernising legacy systems, and embedding Salesforce, AI, mobile, eCommerce, contact centre, and emerging technology into a single, integrated digital experience. This role will directly influence executive strategy and shape the long term digital direction of the business.


About the role:

You will take full ownership of the digital and customer technology estate, defining the strategy and multi year roadmap that aligns with the organisation's broader transformation agenda. Your remit includes Salesforce, mobile apps, eCommerce, contact centre platforms, data integration, and the adoption of next generation digital experiences. You will drive AI use cases across customer engagement and operations, modernise the underlying platforms, and ensure all channels operate as a cohesive end to end journey.


You will partner closely with senior leadership across sales, marketing, digital, and operations, ensuring technology decisions deliver measurable business value. You will lead internal digital teams while managing large scale outsourced development partners, establishing the governance, performance metrics, and delivery standards required for a high performing digital function.


About you:

  • Senior digital technology leader with substantial experience driving transformation at enterprise scale
  • Deep background in Salesforce across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and customer experience platforms
  • Proven leadership across engineering, product, CRM, and customer technology teams
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel customer journeys across mobile, web, contact centre, and eCommerce
  • Experience embedding AI and automation into customer and employee workflows
  • Strong vendor management capability, with experience leading large outsourced delivery models
  • Able to define strategy, set governance, influence C level stakeholders, and lead complex change programmes
  • Comfortable overseeing large digital estates, high availability environments, and modernisation initiatives
