Role: AI OpenShift Architect

Must-Have:

1. Proficient in RedHat OpenShift Container platform, RedHat ACM and RedHat ACS. Monitoring and alerting stacks (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
2. Familiar with integration of AI/ML frameworks, libraries, and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jupyter Notebooks) with OpenShift Platform
3. Possessing a strong understanding of OpenShift components, including master nodes, worker nodes, etcd, and the control plane.
4. Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML model development, training, and deployment, ensuring efficient and automated workflows
5. Hands on experience on automation technology and creating automation uses cases for Openshift Cluster management
6. Experience Using OpenShift APIs and command-line tools for cluster management and application deployment.
7. Experience in implementing robust monitoring and logging solutions for the OpenShift cluster and AI/ML applications, providing insights into performance and potential issues
8. Experience in implementing RBAC to manage user access to resources and protect sensitive data within the OpenShift environment

Good to-Have:

1. Knowledge In GPU orchestration or MIG Instance creation
2. Knowledge in RedHat OpenShift AI
3. Should have Red Hat Certification on OpenShift Administrator

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

1. Good Client management and communication ability
2. Understand the customer requirements and come up with technical solution addressing the requirements
3. Designing the OpenShift cluster architecture, including master and worker nodes, storage, networking, and security configurations, specifically tailored for AI/ML workloads.
4. Leveraging OpenShift Operators to automate and manage various aspects of the platform and applications
5. Ensuring optimal resource allocation (CPU, memory, GPU, storage) for AI/ML applications, considering their often-demanding requirements
6. Implementing HA solutions for critical components and designing scalable infrastructure to handle varying AI/ML workloads
7. Defining network policies to isolate and secure AI/ML workloads, preventing unauthorized access and data breaches
8. Implementing measures to scan and secure container images used for AI/ML applications, ensuring they are free from vulnerabilities
9. Leveraging OpenShift Operators to automate and manage various aspects of the platform and applications
10. Fine-tuning resource allocation, container configurations, and networking to optimize performance for AI/ML workloads
11. Ensuring efficient utilization of GPUs for accelerated training and inference tasks
12. Implementing load balancing strategies to distribute traffic across multiple replicas of AI/ML services, ensuring high availability and performance
13. Working closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient operation of AI/ML workloads
14. Problem-solving skills; handling major incident
15. Deployment and management of monitoring & observabilities tools for AI cluster
