- Lead the design, development, and implementation of backend systems with a focus on data compliance and multi-region architecture.
- Drive the technical development for overseas marketing systems (mainly Klaviyo), ensuring solutions are scalable and compliant.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to quickly understand business needs, refine requirements, and deliver impactful solutions.
- Ensure production stability through proactive monitoring and rapid incident resolution.
- Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing backend engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership and technical excellence.
- 8+ years of backend development experience, with solid system design and implementation capabilities.
- Proficient in Python, Go, or Java, and familiar with relevant frameworks and development tools (e.g., Git, IDEs).
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud ecosystem (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch).
- Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end — from design to delivery — with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in ensuring production reliability.
- Experience in data compliance, marketing automation, or multi-region architecture projects. Prior experience managing or mentoring engineering teams.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business goals into technical strategy.
- Passion for continuous learning, new technologies, and building scalable, impactful systems.
