Responsibilities: As a Product/Service Designer, you will apply strong product design and consulting acumen to shape solutions that are transformative for users and the agency organization.

Lead discovery work to uncover root causes, user needs, and systemic barriers, bringing a product mindset to clearly frame problems before exploring possible solutions

Apply a breadth of design skills to help agencies understand and reimagine end-to-end user experiences across systems, processes, touchpoints, and stakeholders

Partner with engineers, product managers, policymakers and operations to bridge user needs with technical and business realities, ensuring solutions are both meaningful to users and implementable at scale

Partner with the Design Practice to refine and implement design-led frameworks for discovery, problem definition, solutioning and experimentation

Build design capability for the client and the wider public sector, embedding design as a strategic strength

Define and track measures of success to show the impact of design across agency engagements and product development

Your experience:

//Relevant experience/portfolio


  • Relevant experience in product design or related role such as user experience design, design research or service design
  • A track record of delivering highly impactful product launches that contribute significantly to the business value
  • Proven experience in leading a team in handling complex situations across multiple mediums while ensuring positive business outcomes

  • Possess a sharp business mind and strong analytical skills with knowledge of design process and project management

  • Working knowledge of design, rapid prototyping and usability testing tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, Sketch, InVision, Figma

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present work to executives and large teams

  • Collaborative team-player with a strong desire to improve the product, themselves, the world, and everything

  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with executing user-centered design processes
  • Experience quantitative research methodologies and drawing insights from data
  • Extensive knowledge in non-design areas such as marketing, SEO, engineering, or business
  • Comfort with ambiguity yet unstoppable drive to create order out of chaos


  • Note: The Product Designer will collaborate closely with a Service Designer to lead a workstream, so the ideal candidate must be capable of working independently and taking ownership of deliverables.
