Reporting to Chief People Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Compensation
- Designing and implementing compensation structures and frameworks, taking into consideration the Company’s five -year incentive scheme and business plan
- Conducting market benchmarking to ascertain pay positioning vs the market
- Analysing effectiveness of the existing compensation programme and recommending changes that align with the market and to improve competitiveness
- Conducting annual review of salary and bonus allocation
- Drafting Remuneration Committee papers concerning staff costs, salary and bonus pools and reviews
- Supporting salary proposals for recruitment
- Designing and implementing salary banding commensurate with seniority level and role
Benefits
- Administering all benefits programmes globally
- Reviewing existing benefits programmes in the countries where employees are present and ensuring consistency in implementation
- Analysing effectiveness of the benefits programmes and recommending changes to improve their effectiveness and competitiveness
- Managing and reviewing benefits vendors’ effectiveness annually
- Custody of the rewards segment of Staff Handbook and responsibility for its annual review and update
- Introducing and communicating new or revised benefits to employees
Data Analytics
- Developing a data repository for all compensation components, including salary, allowances, short and long-term incentives and special payouts
- Building system reports for regulatory and ad hoc compensation reporting
- Analysing compensation trends to provide predictive analysis
Board Support
- Supporting Remuneration Committee Secretary in all Remuneration Committee meetings
- Organising quarterly Remuneration Committee meetings
- Drafting papers for Remuneration Committee’s meeting and / or approval
HR Business Partner
- Being the HR point person on employee matters for specific business groups
- Aligning employee and business objectives through active engagement and regular updates
Projects
- Providing HR advisory, anticipating and meeting the HR needs of the respective Departments
- Assisting and actively supporting ad hoc business projects
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or equivalent from a recognised university
- At least eight years of experience in HR field, with at least five years relating to compensation and benefits. Global or regional HR experience would be an added advantage
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Knowledgeable in best practices and emerging trends in compensation and benefits, as well as labour laws and regulations
- Creative problem solver with the ability to handle multiple complex issues
- Effective communicator with strong inter-personal skills. Able to influence and manage employees of all levels
- Able to work independently, perform well under pressure and thrive in a face-pace and dynamic work environment
